THE OPPORTUNITY 

The Managing Director, Technology and Chief Information Strategist of NASCAR serves as the most senior executive providing leadership and direction for the enterprise’s Information Technology (IT) function, and as the lead management decision maker with regard to IT investment for a rolling three- to five-year plan.

 

The Managing Director, Technology and Chief Information Strategist supervises the employees in the Information Technology Department. Supervisory responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
