The Product Manager, Data Content, will be responsible for the content of numerous large databases used in the development of software-based solutions. These databases cover a wide array of material, and will include people, publications, articles and a wide array of other content types related to the publishing and marketing industries. The product manager will be responsible for managing the processes behind how data is gathered and maintained; increasing the number of records housed in each database; and the accuracy of the records based on identified sources. The manager will be managing a team of off-shore data processing teams.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years hands-on and demonstrable success as a product manager in the database and / or software field. Undergraduate degree is required as are strong proficiencies in computer software tools such as MS-Access, Excel, MS-Project. Strong communication skills are a must as is the ability to successfully work with international co-workers in Eastern Europe and Asia. Preference is given to someone who has experience in maintaining large databases for software projects, experience in marketing / publishing markets, and managing off-shore teams.
