Clearspring seeking Vice President Sales - Eastern Region - New York, NY

The Vice President Sales/Eastern Region is responsible for managing and developing the Eastern Region including Chicago and Detroit for Clearspring's audience platform advertising sales team. This position is a senior leadership position within the Media Services team, and will play a critical role in helping to position Clearspring as a category leader with agencies, and advertisers. The VP Sales will report to the SVP and work closely to achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets in the Eastern Region.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Hands on, working leader that will guide and manage sales team. Player/Coach role.
  • Drive and maximize revenue growth with top advertising agencies and direct clients
  • Prospect and develop new business within territory
  • Contribute to sales strategy and product development strategy by providing feedback from clients
  • Ability to recruit and build a high performance team and develop lasting business relationships that lead to renewable business

Required Skills/Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years online advertising sales experience with prior experience in behavioral targeting or data sales preferred
  • Strong rolodex of agency and client contacts in the eastern region
  • Take charge candidate; player/coach who leads by example
  • Pro-active, positive attitude and exceptional work ethic
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying or planning
  • Great presenter and communicator
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • An individual of high integrity, energy and enthusiasm; self-directed and motivated
