If you are now completing your sophomore or junior year at Duke, and you seek an outstanding experience this summer to learn about starting and growing a technology start-up company, then you should definitely apply to the True Ventures True Entrepreneur Corps program, and you should do it as soon as you can.  True Ventures is a highly regarded early stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco with US$350M under management.  Its portfolio includes well known start-ups such as AdKeeper, PayNearMe (formerly Kwedit), SendMe Mobile, BrightRoll, StockTwits, SocialCast, and numerous others.  This summer, companies in which True has invested are seeking a dozen highly qualified candidates for internship positions.  Applications are being processed on a rolling basis and the deadline for applying to this program is March 15th.  Specifics about the program and how to apply are available in the attached PDF file.

TEC brings entrepreneurially-minded, rising college juniors and seniors to the San Francisco Bay area to spend the summer in an early stage startup for firsthand experience.  In addition to working on projects for a True portfolio company, students participate in a weekly curriculum at the True office in San Francisco.  Small discussions with company founders, investors, and others from the True network give program participants the chance to meet and learn from many of today's brightest and most accomplished minds in technology.
